Hi! I'm Jen.

I'm a designer and developer with experience in UX research, UI design, front-end development, augmented reality, and data visualization. I believe in the process of solving tough problems through research and empathy and I truly love working in creative teams using UX design methodologies.

My Process

Research and data insights drive my design decisions for products and platforms. As both a designer & developer, I'm acutely aware of how the two fields interact and can, at times, conflict. By combining my knowledge in these areas, I've created products from inception through delivery, such as augmented reality mobile apps, agency websites, high-converting marketing landing pages, branding and logos, and interactive dashboards.

Status

I'm currently finishing my M.S. in Human Computer Interaction (Dec. 2020) and actively looking for my next opportunity. During my time in graduate school, I've had the opportunity to do extensive research on artificial intelligence, its potential implications, and its applications for emergency response teams. I'm continuing my research by assisting CHARIoT Challenge competitor groups to understand the role of AI while also developing the interactions for the MagicLeap system in Unity3D.
